Unlocking Potential: My Transformative Journey at the Intercollegiate Academic Event

On November 12th, along with my classmates, we began our adventure to the State of Mexico to participate in the Academic Intercollegiate of Instituto Tepeyac Xcaret. The first day was a perfect time to hang out and relax before the tests. We arrived at Kinezis, an activity center, where we had the opportunity to socialize with students from other campuses. In my case, I spent more time with students from León, Guadalajara, and Santa Anita. We enjoyed fun activities that helped us get to know each other better and prepare for the challenges of the next day.

On November 13th, we began the academic tests. The Knowledge Marathon was one of the first tests, where I worked with a partner from the Coacalco campus to answer 150 general knowledge questions. Although it was a challenge, it was very fun to interact with other students and learn together. After that, we had the individual Mathematics test, which was an opportunity to put my skills to the test in a competitive environment.

The next day, November 14th, it was time for the English Debate. This year’s topic was: “Should companies be required to adopt sustainable practices, even if it increases costs?” Along with my team, which included the same partner from Coacalco and a guy from Puerto Vallarta, we worked with great dedication and earned first place. It was an incredible experience, as the debate not only allowed me to share my knowledge but also to hear different points of view. Later, we presented our Science project, where my partner and I from the same campus achieved third place. The topic of our project was the development of efficient options for water pumping in farming fields, which allowed me to apply what I had learned in a practical way and work as a team.

A Day of Fun at Six Flags

November 15th was the last day of this amazing experience, and we had the opportunity to relax and enjoy a fun-filled day at Six Flags. It was the perfect way to end this academic adventure, where I shared joyful moments with classmates from other campuses and made unforgettable memories.

Conclusion: An Unforgettable Experience

Participating in the Academic Intercollegiate with Instituto Tepeyac Xcaret was not just an opportunity to compete, but a complete experience that allowed me to grow academically and personally. From the academic challenges to the team-building activities, each day offered a new chance to learn, meet new people, and enjoy time with my classmates. Without a doubt, I recommend this experience to all students because it’s not only about competing, but also about interacting and enjoying the learning process. The academic intercollegiate is something that shouldn’t be missed, as it is a moment to develop skills, make friends, and most importantly, help build a resume for university, which will be a great asset for the future.
