Hello everybody! My name is Lucila Fernández Debeve, and today I’m going to tell you about a fun experience I had while traveling with some classmates to Canada to attend a different school.
At first, I was really nervous because we had to stay with a host family for the week. However, they picked me up at the airport, and they were really nice. The next day, I went to an ice-skating competition where the daughter of my host family was competing. I liked it, but it lasted a long time, and at times, I got tired and bored.
On Monday, it was my first day of school. We woke up at 7 a.m. to be at school by 8:30 a.m. When classes started, I introduced myself to my new classmates, and they asked me a few things about myself, like my favorite song, if I have siblings, and more.
My favorite class was sports because we slid in the snow, and believe me, it was so much fun! On Wednesday and Friday, we went shopping. I enjoyed it, but I wish we had more time for this because there was so little time to visit all the places.
I miss my new friend Oli because she was really nice and friendly to me. To conclude, I have to say that I really loved this trip, and I would definitely go again next year. So, if you ever have the opportunity to go, you should definitely do it!
Luli
