Hi, my name is Carolina González Jiménez, and I’m going to talk about my Show and Tell experience.
My first presentation in 3rd grade was kind of difficult. At first, I was super excited and ready. When I entered the classroom, I felt confident, but then… my heart started beating too fast. I felt a little nervous and scared because my turn was getting closer! I felt bad, but then I said to myself, «You got this!»
It was my turn. My heart was beating too fast.
I took a deep breath, and when I stood in front of all my classmates, I was trembling and nervous.
I talked about my cheerleading teddy bear and explained that I got it in Guadalajara during my cheerleading competition. I said that it was very important to me and that I loved it. At one point, I felt like I was going to cry. But then I took another deep breath—and I did it!
I was so happy and surprised that all my classmates loved my presentation. I got a 10, and I was super happy! I even brought cookies for them, and they loved them.
I was very excited and grateful, so I said, «Thank you for your support and attention!» From that moment on, I felt pretty good and happy, and I learned that we need to control our emotions!
