Hey! Good day!
I’m going to talk about Children’s Day and children’s rights around the world.
Children’s Day is celebrated to raise awareness of children’s rights and needs, and to promote their well-being. Egypt, along with Indonesia, celebrates Children’s Day on November 20th, while Mexico and the United States celebrate it on April 30th. I also celebrate it on April 30th because I live in Mexico.

All children deserve basic human rights like access to healthcare, education, protection, play, and entertainment. Each of these aspects is part of a group of rights that help ensure children enjoy a high quality of life.
In second grade, we had some fun activities for Children’s Day. One of my favorites was a scavenger hunt! In this activity, we were divided into teams and had to find animals hidden around the field. After finding them, we went to the French teacher to say where they were. If we were correct, we won! The animals we searched for were elephants, tigers, monkeys, lions, a hippo, and a snake.
Children’s Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of children’s rights and well-being. Let’s each reflect on how we can help create a world where all children feel safe, loved, and empowered to grow.
Our collective effort can make a big difference in the happiness and growth of children—not just on Children’s Day, but every day.
