Students Day

By Boulos, Paul  1°B

Student’s Day was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my school    life. Even though it has already passed, the memories still make me smile. From    the moment I arrived, I felt excitement in the air—everyone was dressed in casual clothes, the music was blasting, and there was a sense of freedom we don’t usually feel during regular school days. This celebration was made just for us, and I felt seen, appreciated, and part of something joyful. Everything about that day—the games, the laughter, the food, and the unity—was simply amazing for the students who got to enjoy it.

What made the Day of the Student so special was how different it  was from normal school life. There were no classes, no tests, and no stress. Instead, we got to be ourselves, joke around with teachers, and do things we never usually do at school. That change of pace gave everyone a boost of  happiness.

There was soccer and water polo in the morning, and teams gave it their all while classmates cheered. Just Dance had students showing off moves in the classroom while volleyball with towels added comedy to competition. Energy was everywhere, and the laughter never stopped. Some students went to the glass workshop or painted with watercolors. Others sang their hearts out during karaoke or played Mario Kart in the classrooms. People moved between rooms, exploring different activities. It felt like a mini festival inside our school.

We had a board games room, giant donuts, pin pong, and a movie room to chill. At noon, we all gathered in the dome for tacos, a talent show, and a closing message. It was the perfect way to end the day—smiles on every face.

The Day of the Student was more than just a break from schoolwork. It was a day full of laughter, choice, and community. Everyone got to enjoy something, and it brought us closer together. It was fun, unforgettable, and totally worth it.
